Former Residents Make Largest Gift Ever to the ESEF Endowment Fund

Keith and Joy Schuldt, former El Segundo residents and business owners who now reside in Iowa, recently donated to the Foundation the Richmond Street building in downtown El Segundo that housed Schuldt Printing for more than 30 years.

Escrow closed on the sale of this property in May 2004, which resulted in a contribution of more than $450,000 for ESEF's Endowment Fund. The Schuldts have a special interest in providing needed textbooks; therefore the earnings from their gift have been designated accordingly.

In appreciation for their generous contribution, Keith and Joy Schuldt were presented with Lifetime Memberships in the Superintendent's Roundtable at
Keith & Joy Schuldt
the April 2004 meeting. In addition, one of the buildings at El Segundo High School will be named in their honor in 2005.
