Wrestling with a bar of hotel soap inside an unusually sturdy
plastic wrapper ended in me losing! For three consecutive
days, I tore at the wrapper unable to open it. Each time
the result was the same - soap and wrapper destroyed. Finally,
I put on my glasses and carefully examined the wrapper.
I found a small slit with the word "open."
Unread cell phone, digital camera and computer instructions litter my office drawers. Too busy and too impatient, I fumble through my life teetering just on the edge of mastering the technology. And when I have finally mastered it, the technology is out of date! At times my spiritual life evidences this same tendency - ignoring instructions. Instead of sitting in my drawers, these instructions are within the covers of my Bible. I would benefit from reading the instructions. For instance, when I am:
So many good instructions; if I not only read them, but applied them, life would be different. Will you join me in taking the instructions seriously? |
