DID YOU KNOW? In the 2007-2008 academic year, eleven Mewbourne School of Petroleum and Geological Engineering faculty members taught an average of 4.5 courses each. In addition, the MPGE faculty published 30 papers in refereed journals and about 70 at conference presentations/proceedings. In the ConocoPhillips School of Geology and Geophysics, eighty-five courses were taught by the CPGG faculty, for an average of 4 courses each. The CPGG faculty published an impressive 50 refereed papers. Research expenditures for both schools were at $2.5 million each, a record for CPGG. <<Back
