The Accolade Building Better Members, Building Better Chapters The Phi Delta Theta Educational Foundation was recently recognized by the North-American Interfraternity Conference for the Best Use of a Foundation Grant for its support of The Accolade. The Accolade is Phi Delta Theta's member development program that seeks to build better members by developing the brothers outside the college classroom. Personal development activities including goal-setting, time management, character development and career development are combined with chapter activities such as educational programs, retreats and activities involving The Bond and the three Cardinal Principles.

The Accolade is designed to enhance a member's collegiate and Fraternity experience. Through building better individual members, the Fraternity builds better chapters. This program is available to all members, whether Phikeia or newly initiated brothers or senior members and alumni.

By including alumni in the development of the program, The Accolade seeks to bring the concept of "A Fraternity for Life" into a more active role in our Fraternity. Member development in all phases of membership can enhance any Phi's experience in our brotherhood.
